This Blessed Emperor Karl of Austria wood magnet is engraved on baltic birch plywood, and features the likeness of Blessed Emperor Karl, taken from a 1917/1918 Austrian stamp. This particular image is a side profile of Karl and was originally engraved by Alfred Cossmann (1870-1951) for use on a stamp. A strong disc magnet is fixed on the back of the wood engraving. Crafted by a Catholic woodworker in Illinois.
