This engraved wooden wall plaque of Blessed Emperor Karl of Austria is hand made by a practicing Catholic woodworker, right here in these United States! The stunning engraving on maple wood, was originally featured on an Austro-Hungarian stamp from 1917/1918 designed by the renowned engraver Alfred Cossmann (1870-1951).
The back of the wall plaque lists the birth and death year of Blessed Karl (1887-1922), his imperial monogram, as well as her titles as Emperor of Austria and Apostolic King of Hungary. Wall hangers are built into the back of plaque.
This is a made-to-order item, which ships separately from other items on the e-store. As such, it may take up to a couple of weeks in order for the plaque to be made and then subsequently shipped out. Once the order is placed, the wood worker will be in contact directly with you regarding when your order will be ready to be shipped out. Orders that are made for special occasions, should take into consideration this lead time, in order to receive it at the appropriate time.
Given that each order is custom, there is to be expected slight variations in the wood and the engraving itself, as is typical in handcrafted items. Blessed Emperor Karl pray for us!
